Vinyl lovers will be pleased to hear that Serato and Ortofon have released one of the most significant breakthroughs in cartridge design in the last 40 years.
The Ortofon-Serato S-120 is a new high output (10.0mV) DJ cartridge with a new technology first called “asymmetric suspension”. This allows the S-120 to deliver higher levels of musical detail and unrivaled tracking ability.
The dramatic improvement in tracking also results in less record wear and less chance of the needle popping out of the groove.
